'They deserve everything that happens to them': Father Tkachuk slams son Matthew's team

MISE & Agrave; DAY

Former player Keith Tkachuk wasn't kind to the Florida Panthers, his son Matthew's team, during his appearance on a Toronto radio show.< /strong>

On Monday night, he watched the Panthers lose 5-2 to the Ottawa Senators, the roster of his other son, Brady.

< "It's a matter of life and death for the Panthers right now," Tkachuk said on First Up with Korolnek & Colaiacovo before the Panthers' victory over the Maple Leafs in the evening. I'm disappointed with what I see from the Panthers.

“It's a team that lacks conviction and they deserve everything that's happening to them right now.”

More robustness?

According to the former St. Louis Blues striker, the Florida squad, who are visiting the Canadiens tonight at the Bell Centre, lack hard work.&nbsp ;

“Instead of trying to get autographs from Matthews or Marner on the ice, they should watch them more closely. It's very disappointing. I come across as a frustrated person. However, every time I watch the Senators, I know they're not the most talented team, but they're going to give their all.

“The Panthers should take a page from their book.”
