This AI-imagined Blue Jays video will give you nightmares
|UPDATE DAY
Artificial Intelligence is a phenomenal breakthrough in technology, but sometimes it can also lead to results worthy of your worst nightmares.
TSN employee Josh Shiaman recently ordered the AI to generate an ad for the Blue Jays, the city of Toronto's professional baseball team, and the result is disastrous.

Tried using Text-to-Video AI to generate a @BlueJays commercial and it…um…did not go well….🫤 pic.twitter.com/p3tzH9euUc

The video begins rather normally, with hordes of identical amateurs and a few, albeit tech-warped, kids enjoying a snack at the Rogers Centre. After 15 seconds, we start to see deformed players, but everything is still fine.
It's about halfway through the 52 second video that the delirium begins. After a child has been seen enjoying an alcoholic beverage, several characters contort and give way to scenes worthy of the worst zombie movies.
We guess here that the intention was to feed hot dogs and other delicious snacks to members of the crowd, but the food quickly gets mixed in the fingers and arms of the spectators.
And what could be better than a good old explosion to end this carnage in style? Filmmakers George Romero and Michael Bay would be proud…
Besides, the team's reaction says it all. Let's all try together to forget these images…
