Ce vendredi 9 août, les équipes de Ligue 2 du Rodez Aveyron Football et de Clermont Ferrand ont disputé leur dernier match amical.

It was hot this Friday, August 9th at the Parc des Sports in Millau, which, like every year, hosted a friendly Ligue 2 match. With a last-minute change of date, the teams of Bichard Sébastien (Clermont-Ferrand coach) and Didier Santini (RAF coach) faced each other.

With a temperature of around 31 degrees at the start of the match, the few supporters sought shade in the stands.

From the first minutes of the match, the public was still there. Coming from Clermont, Rodez or Millau, they were on the lookout from the stands to dissect the match.

As for the players, the heat did not demotivate them. They played three periods of 45 minutes. The Aveyron team even opened the scoring in the 21st minute with a goal from Killian Corredor.

The friendly match took place one week before the resumption of official Ligue 2 championship matches. Thus, on Friday August 16, at 8 p.m., the two teams will truly launch their season. The Ruthénois will face Ajaccio and Clermont will face Pau.
