I promise you : the cast of the remake of This is Us is revealed

There is something new about the remake of This is Us. The filming of I promise, in preparation for TF1, is expected to begin in 2020 and the cast begins to unfold. Marilou Berry would have been chosen to play one of main roles while Camille Lou, seen recently in The Bazaar of the Charity, would also be approached to join the distribution.

Big success in the United States where season 4 is currently airing on NBC, This is Us will soon be entitled to a French version. No, this is not a joke : TF1 has decided to adapt the show, I promise you, a series in 12 episodes. The pitch ? Like the original series with Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore or even Sterling K. Brown, the action will follow a family over two eras : that of the parents upon the birth of their children in 1981 on the day of the election of François Mitterrand and, 37 years later, that of the children who become adults during the period between the two rounds of the presidential election of 2017. But who are the actors who will play the equivalent of Jack, Rebecca, Randall, Kevin, or Kate ?

Marilou Berry in the casting

While Jenifer has explained to PRBK that it will not be part of the cast of I promise you, one other name mentioned seems, to him, to confirm : that of Marilou Berry.
