This Wednesday in Montpellier, it’s the 12th edition of the “Find my first apartment” Housing Day

For the start of the school year, the Hérault department is supporting young people in their search for accommodation with the 12th edition of “Find my first apartment”. This Wednesday, September 4, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Espace Jeunes Citoyens de Pierresvives in Montpellier, 17-30 year-olds will be welcomed and informed.

For this period synonymous with the search for housing for young people, the Department in partnership with the CRIJ/Info Jeunes Hérault association is once again offering a tailor-made day this year. The aim is to inform 17-30 year-olds by offering them workshops on housing opportunities and available assistance.

Housing solutions and procedures

On the program: find a housing solution regardless of your status (student, apprentice, employee, job seeker, etc.) thanks to personalized advice; find out about the different types of assistance available (CAF, Action au Logement, etc.), learn more about your rights and housing legislation; view housing offers in the Montpellier metropolitan area.

On site, young people will be able to benefit from support for their online procedures on the websites of: CAF (APL simulator, or specific assistance for apprentices); Action Logement (registration); Info Jeunes Hérault (search for housing offers); Montpellier Métropole Youth Compass (housing service offers).

Housing professionals

This is an opportunity for young people to be supported by many professionals in the sector, partners of this day: Habitat Jeunes, CAF de l’Hérault, ADIL 34, ADOMA, ACM Habitat, Action Logement, CRIJ/Info Jeunes Hérault.

This Wednesday September 4 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Espace Jeunes Citoyens – Pierresvives, 907 rue du Professeur Blayac in Montpellier. Open to all, free and without registration.
