Three Alésiennes are on their way to the national muaythai championships

They will take place on April 6 and 7, 2024 in Paris.

Three Muaythai champions from Occitanie, trained at the Alésien Club (7, impasse Emmanuel Chabertin), will represent the Cévenole capital, as well as the region, at the French championships, which will take place on Saturday & nbsp;6 and Sunday 7 next April.

Caroline Chalmeton, Alexandra Thérond and Romane Charpentier, supervised by their coaches, Eric and Corentin Delobel, will fight at the Salle Coubertin, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. &quot ;It’s really good that our club, and especially our city, is being highlighted", communicates Martial Sawicki, coordinator of the club.

As a reminder, Muathai is a martial art, also called "a boxing of the Thai people", which is practiced by the use of fists, feet, elbows, knees and head.
