Three injured in a pursuit race in Repentigny

REPENTIGNY | Three people were injured Sunday following a pursuit race in Repentigny, in the Lanaudière region.

According to police, officers attempted to stop a stolen vehicle that was travelling on the rue Notre-Dame.

The driver refused to comply and fled.

In a construction zone, the fugitive struck another car, which carried four persons at the corner of the avenue of the Artists.

Two of them were injured. They were transported to the hospital, but the injuries were minor.

The suspect, a man, aged thirty, has also suffered minor injuries.

An investigation was opened for these events.
