Three new restaurants to go out in the suburbs
|MISE À DAY
Gone are the days when you had to go out into town to find a quality gastronomic offer. The suburbs are full of hidden treasures! Go on an adventure and discover three new restaurants on the outskirts of Montreal.
Le Xavier
< p>Completely charming, this Xavier! And intriguing, with its chic eccentric decor reminiscent of cabinets of curiosities, while revealing the historic architectural details of this former miller's house built in 1805, in Old Terrebonne.
You can taste surprising dishes, inspired by the freshness of the market, such as the tasty gravlax of arctic char, Cornish hen, grilled octopus. An A+ also for the original cocktails with seasonal flavors, based on homemade syrups.
As a couple, in the privacy of the alcoves, or with friends, bar style, around dishes to share, the Xavier offers a high-end and unpretentious experience.

Don't talk about it too much
Hush, it's a secret! You would never have thought that a restaurant is hiding behind this anonymous door of a residential building in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
Parles-en pas trop offers a journey through time and a clandestine dining experience, like the hidden restaurants of the Prohibition era.
In a mysterious and cozy universe, with a kitsch decor full of surprises, we discover a local cuisine with 100% Quebec ingredients, which varies according to the seasons. Great service, very interesting food and wine pairings, brunch on Sundays and a superb terrace in summer.

Le Millésime
A new gourmet tapas-style restaurant has appeared in Saint-Hyacinthe. Le Millésime offers a 100% local menu based on products from local producers and suppliers.
Fish, seafood, wagyu, elk: the refined dishes served in a warm atmosphere vary according to the seasons.
The wine list includes Quebec and privately imported wines. Cocktail and beer lovers are also pampered here, with local spirits and products from the Bilboquet microbrewery featured, including their regular beers and certain special or limited-edition barrel beers.
