Toulon announced this Sunday, February 11, the departure of hooker Christopher Tolofua for Montpellier with immediate effect, acceding to his player's wishes to leave despite a denial several days ago.

Montpellier will therefore record the arrival of a new player, in the person of French international hooker Christopher Tolofua (8 caps).

His transfer had been in the air for several weeks, during which discussions began.

While the rumors were more and more insistent, Toulon ended up denying any departure of its player, under contract with the Var club until the end of the season. All of which provoked the ire of Patrice Collazo at a press conference.

But the RCT ended up giving up, as it announced in a press release this Sunday, letting Tolofua leave for Hérault, with immediate effect.
