1. Direction La Grande-Motte and Carnon, departure from Odysseum
You must join tram line 1, in the direction of Odysseum. You can take it from the stop gare Saint-Roch, where the four tram lines intersect. Allow twenty minutes to get to the stop Place de France, the terminus.
To get to La Grande-Motte, take bus line 606 towards “Aigues-Mortes – Gare SNCF”, “Le Grau-du-Roi – Écoles” or towards “La Grande-Motte – Jardin du Ponant or the post office”.
After 20 minutes of looking at the scenery through the window, go down to the "Poste". You only have thirteen minutes left on foot and you're on the warm sand.
To sunbathe in Carnon, it's the same line: 606. But, you have to stop at "Mairie annexe", and in less than ten minutes of walking you're at the sea.
Departures are scheduled from 6 a.m. to 7:40 p.m., one bus per hour from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, there are only six departures: 9:40 a.m.; 11am 40 ; 2 p.m. 40 ; 16 hours 40 ; 18 h 40 and 19 h 40.
Returns take place every hour between 7:15 a.m. and 7:50 p.m., except at 9:15 a.m. and 9:50 a.m. ;h 46 where two vehicles follow one another. On Sundays, lio only provides 7 departures to Montpellier, the last being at 7:50 p.m.

2. Direction Palavas, departure from Garcia Lorca
Line 4, gold color to bask in the sun. To do this, stay under the air conditioning of the tram for ten minutes (from "Gare Saint Roch") to the terminus, Garcia Lorca.
The lio bus 631 heading towards "Salle Bleue", your stop to reach the Palavasian beach, awaits vacationers against the Federico Garcia Lorca media library. Departures are between 7:05 a.m. and 8:05 p.m. on weekdays. On Saturdays, the shuttle runs every hour from 7:35 a.m. to 7:35 p.m. and count one less passage in the morning and evening on Sundays. As for returns, you can leave the beach until 10:40 p.m., Monday to Sunday.
Price: 6.40 € the round trip. Timetables available on herault-transport.fr. Attention : until September 1, line 4 no longer serves the " Albert 1st Cathedral, "Peyrou Arc de Triomphe" and "Saint-Guilhem – Courreau. An alternative route goes through "Albert 1st – Saint-Charles" and "Léon Blum".
3. All directions from Pérols Étang de l’Or
You must join tram line 3, direction Pérols Étang de l’Or. Time to take a 20-minute nap (from Gare Saint-Roch) and you are at the terminus. The country of Gold has set up four bus lines to serve the coast at 1 € : the Transp’Or. Among them, two allow you to reach the beaches.

Bus number 1 crosses Carnon and Palavas until& rsquo;at the Right Bank, stop "Salle bleue". All stops take you to the beach. Departures range from 7:15 a.m. to 10:45 p.m., with one shuttle every thirty minutes. Days at the seaside can extend until 11:30 p.m., time of the last bus to Pérols.
Shuttle 4 takes you to the Grande-Motte, stop "Grand bleu", passing by by Carnon. A departure every 30 minutes from 7:20 a.m., then every hour between 6:10 p.m. and 10:10 p.m. Returns are guaranteed until 11 p.m. 10.

4. The sporty bike ride
Montpellier has 57 Vélomagg stations scattered around the city. The opportunity to cycle to the beach via the greenways.
You can reach Palavas-les-Flots by the Lez greenway which begins on the Pont Juvénal, in the Port district -Marianne. 12.3 km of green landscapes against the old railway line.
To reach Carnon, prepare to cycle 13.7 km from Place Ernest Granier, in the Port district -Marianne in Montpellier.
The more sporty can continue towards the Grande-Motte or Villeneuve-lès-Maguelone via the Mediterranean by bike or the ViaRhôna.
