Trendy, chic and festive, “les Mômes” are reopening in Montpellier for a new adventure… in continuity

Place du Marché-aux-Fleurs, en face de la préfecture, l’établissement rouvre. On peut y manger… et faire la fête.
And there you have it, this Friday, September 27 in the evening, Les Mômes, on Place du Marché-aux-Fleurs, opposite the prefecture, has reopened. An opening in continuity. The place aims to be trendy, elegant and festive. With a new feature: the upper floor will be reserved for the restaurant, with an intimate side. Expect to pay 42 euros for the refined evening menu with its veal tartare, bone marrow and pan-fried chanterelles, followed by a tataki or a low-temperature pork chop and, to conclude, a coconut-cinnamon tiramisu or a tonka bean pannacotta. Unless you prefer the menu.
"There is a good atmosphere here, people will sing, dance…"
"We are on a Mediterranean cuisine, preferably Italian, but not only. We are on fresh and homemade products", emphasize the two owners, Pablo Fellah-Puchaux and Rémy Martinet (who also runs the nightclub le Grand Bazar on the Comédie). Both have already worked in various Montpellier establishments. For the rest, the Kids, with their new associates, will rely on what was already working: “You can come as a couple, with your family, with friends, have a drink, a cocktail, eat, share tapas. It's not a nightclub but there's a good atmosphere here, people will sing, dance…”
From Tuesday lunchtime to Sunday brunch
The establishment will be open from Tuesday lunchtime to Saturday evening, 1 a.m., with the possibility of eating, in catering as well as tapas, until midnight. Not forgetting the Sunday lunchtime brunch. And musical entertainment. Especially on Thursday evenings, with live performances. “We are going to develop a festive cultural side in afterwork. There will be a singer, a pianist, a violinist, a different artist every Thursday evening.”
“I trust them”
Both of them know music. They are not the only ones. A third thief is in the business: Stéphan Martinet watches over them. Rémy's father is none other than one of the partners of the Minister's farmhouse. But at Les Mômes, he only put a few marbles. “I trust them. They have the youth, the relationships, they know the clientele. They know how to do it.”
So since this Friday, the Kids are back in the place.
