Seven members of the security services turks died in a plane crash in the East of Turkey, reported Thursday the official news agency Anadolu.
“Aircraft recognition” has fallen in the province of Van, reported Anadolu, citing the Interior minister.
The governor of the province has paid tribute on Twitter to the seven “heroes” and sent its condolences to their families. A government investigation is underway, he added.
Both drivers of the turks were dead in 2018 when a military plane crashed during an exercise in the province of Izmir (west).
The province is mountainous and isolated from the Van, to the border with Iran, has been hit in February by two avalanches that had been 41 deaths.
