Two brand new trucks for the Lozère fire brigade
|Cet achat intervient dans le cadre du Plan pluriannuel d’investissement. DR
The Department recently invested in two high-pressure urban forestry tankers, which headed to Massegros and Meyrueis.
Sophie Pantel, President of the Department and of the Board of Directors of the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (Casdis), handed over the keys to two new high-speed urban forestry tankers pressure (CCFU HP) to the Lozère firefighters.
As part of the Department's multi-year investment plan (600,000 euros) and due to the desire to secure firefighters during their interventions, Sdis 48 was assigned on Monday March 25, two CCFU HP (order 2023) for the fire and rescue centers of Meyrueis and Massegros.
These two forest fire tankers with the urban variant and the high pressure device will intervene in the fight against building fires and fires in natural areas.
Twenty latest generation machines
The acquisition of these two new vehicles thus provides 20 latest generation CCFs, thus meeting all safety standards, including seven with high pressure.
As a reminder, the CCF fleet within the departmental body (excluding reserve CCF) is thirty-three machines. The machines ordered as part of the capacity pact (four CCFU HP and two CCFS) will complete the fleet of vehicles involved in the fight against fires in natural areas.
These assignments are the result of collaborative work, consultation and exchanges between the services of the general staff (technical and operations), but also with members of the Administrative and Technical Commission for Fire and Rescue Services (Catsis), under the leadership and validation of Sophie Pantel. The next trucks will also be financed by the State.
