Two kidnapped children found a year later in a supermarket

UPDATE DAY

Two Missouri children have been found in a Winn-Dixie supermarket in Florida nearly a year after they were abducted, authorities said. 

Brooke and Adrian Gilley were found at the store with their birth mother, Kristi Nicole Gilley, last week, according to a statement shared on the High Springs Police Department Facebook page.

Both children were missing since mid-March 2022, according to the High Springs Police Department.

Gilley, 36, was arrested in the supermarket after a traffic stop revealed the driver was a fugitive.&nbsp ;

She was detained and arrested on an active kidnapping warrant in Clay County, Missouri, according to authorities.

Gilley remains in custody.
