Two other rosés for the summer
|UPDATE DAY
Fine weather. Hot. The holidays are in full swing. We take the opportunity to sip two other rosés that have just landed on the shelves of the SAQ.
Drink less. Drink better.
Patrick Piuze, Non Dosé rosé Traditional Method, Vin de France $25.50 – SAQ code 14961902 – 1, 6% – 12%
Already the Non Dosé in white is delicious, the rosé version adds a layer of it with a juicy and abundant fruitiness articulated around a lively and precise acidity. It is very dry with relief and a saline finish and we guess raspberry and cherry. Another great job by our Quebecer and Chablisien by adoption Patrick Piuze!

Domaine de L'Olivette rosé 2021, Bandol, France $26.90 – SAQ code 14486523 – 13.5% – 1.2 g/L
Here is your chance to put our hands on a rosé from Bandol, one of the best regions for this kind of wine, at a low price. It is available at SAQ Dépôt and you can get 15% off when you buy 12 bottles or more, which comes to just under $23 a bottle. And the quality is there: a very present nose with notes of melon, lavender and citrus. The palate displays rich fruitiness, a more delicate structure for a rosé of this appellation, and a tasty finish with good persistence. Perfect as an aperitif, but even better at the table.
