WBC world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has found an original way to ask Anthony Joshua to agree to face him in 2021.
“Grow a pair and sign the contract big guy,” proclaimed the British boxer Monday, during his appearance on the program “Good Morning Britain” on the ITV channel.
“Hopefully this fight will happen,” he added. I’m ready to fight, I don’t know if he is. I have been ready to fight for five years. It hasn’t happened so far, but I’m very optimistic that it will happen in 2021. “
Last June, the two boxers had yet accepted the initial conditions for the holding of two fights. Details regarding the dates, location and financial aspects were not finalized, however.
The last time Fury (30-0-1, 21 KOs) stepped in the ring was last February, when he defeated Deontay Wilder. For his part, Joshua (24-1, 22 KOs) pulverized Kubrat Pulev last Saturday.
He thus retained his IBF, WBA and WBO world heavyweight champion belts.
