Milan football club punished for violation of rules of financial fair play

UEFA announced the sanctions against “Milan” for violation of rules of financial fair play.

The club will receive 12 million euros in prize money for their participation in the Europa League this season.

Also be limited to the application of “Milan” for the next two European away games this season – no more than 21 players.

Also Milan until 30 June 2021 should become break-even. Otherwise it will be excluded from participation in Euro cups in the seasons 2022/23 and 2023/24.

Earlier it was reported that “Milan” can be fined 20 million euros and to exclude from European competitions already this season.

We will remind that “Milan” in June was ousted from the Europa League for violating FFP, but in July the court of arbitration for Sport (CAS) overturned this decision.

Milan scored 10 points in the group and advanced to the playoffs, behind Betis and Olympiacos.
