The President of the Union of European football associations (UEFA) Aleksander Ceferin, founder and head of the European clubs Association Andrea Agnelli discussed the plan of carrying out of matches of the Champions League at the weekend.

Another aspect of the reform may concern the format of the group stage. Instead of eight groups of four teams, the UEFA plans to create four groups of eight teams.
