UEFA to compensate Kyiv EUR 100 thousand for free travel in municipal public transport fans of the UEFA Champions League finals.
This was stated by the Manager of transport and mobility during the final matches of men’s and women’s team finals of the UEFA Champions League season 2017/2018 in Kiev Sergey Khyzhnyato, reports UNN.
According to him, during the final matches of the Champions League in Kiev will act the concept of “kombiticket” which will allow fans who have a ticket to ride for 36 hours for free in public municipal transport.
“There is an agreement with KCSA that UEFA compensates for this opportunity to the city of 100 thousand euros. And fans will be able to go without buying separate tickets”, he said. This will apply to those persons who are officially accredited for the final match of the Champions League, namely, the press, volunteers, etc. Also “kombiticket” will work for fans of the women’s Champions League final, which will be held on Thursday, may 24.
