“We have quite a positive indicator 3.2% of GDP growth. This is higher than our indicator, this operational data in accordance with the calculation of economic development”, – said the Prime Minister at the Cabinet meeting on Wednesday.
We will remind, earlier the national Bank has estimated the growth of Ukraine’s GDP for the year 2018 at the rate of 3.3%.
Final data will be published in March, the State statistics service. However, it is obvious that the Ukrainian economy showed the biggest increase over the past seven years. For comparison, in 2017, GDP grew by 2.5%.
In 2019 the growth will slow down somewhat due to the tight monetary policies necessary to slow inflation, and careful fiscal policies associated with peak debt.
