“On a voulu décliner nos produits à un large public”, expliquent les deux nouveaux associés. Midi Libre – Laura Vaillant

Uma Thibault et Mario Proust ont récemment ouvert La Cannabisserie, un magasin de CBD, au cœur de Millau. Venus de Lodève pour la qualité de vie que propose la cité du gant, les deux associés reviennent sur leur parcours.

Nothing destined them for trade, and even less for hemp. Uma Thilbault and Mario Proust, originally from Lodève, have just opened their first store as partners, La Cannabisserie CBD, in the city of the glove.

"In comparison to Lodève, which is a very small town, in Millau things are much more moving, rejoices Uma Thibault. It’s nice, there are quite a few cafes with terraces. It’s really nice." "And then, for us Millau is the Eldorado compared to Lodève", jokes his associate.< /p>

Two paths that meet

Two distinct personalities. So much so that nothing suggested a meeting. And yet. Rather oriented towards the medical field with training as a nursing assistant, it was for the sake of comfort and logistics in relation to her life as a mother that Uma Thilbault finally turned to sales. She therefore met Mario Proust, already the owner of a CBD store in the Hérault commune. “I found what I was looking for. I have fixed hours and I continue to have a connection with the field of well-being”, explains the young woman.

As for Mario Proust, having lived fifteen years in the pink city, it was in the kitchen that he first learned his trade. A pandemic passing by, he took the plunge into entrepreneurship. Today, he is at the head of nine stores of this type. La Cannabisserie in Millau is the first under this name, in association with Uma Thibault.

"It’is above all to relieve"

A few curious people have already walked through the door. Others were content to observe from the window the panoply of products which rest on the shelves of the shop where the fresh paint can still be felt.

Legalized product, but still an object of mistrust, CBD (cannabidiol) has nevertheless proven its effectiveness. Studies suggest that it could have beneficial effects on conditions, including pain, anxiety and sleep disorders.

Experienced and documented, the managers support people addicted to cannabis in their withdrawal. "We are not qualified for any form of medicine, the associates procrastinate. It’is above all to relieve."

In the form of candies, herbal teas, sprays, cosmetic products or even drinks, the directions given to CBD are as diverse as there are needs. Benefits known to the two new managers of 6 boulevard de l’Ayrolle who hope to see here the first boutique of a desired flourishing brand.

Open Tuesday to Saturday: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 6 boulevard de l'Ayrolle. Information on 06 98 17 67 23 or by email contact.sarlmu@gmail. com.
