American songwriter Ellie Willis died on 24 December of a heart attack in Los Angeles. She wrote soundtrack to the cult TV series “Friends”. This was announced by her longtime friend and partner prudence Fenton on his page in Instagram.
In addition to working in film and television, Willis worked with the band Earth, Wind & Fire. She is one of the authors of the hit Boogie Wonderland. The song was released in 1979. This song was a landmark in the work of Willis.
