Unvaccinated, French singer Zaz is forced to cancel her next shows in Quebec, due to the sanitary measures still applied in Canada.
“My dear Quebec cousins, I announce with great sadness that unfortunately I will not be able to come and honor my concerts scheduled for September due to the health measures still in effect in Canada”, wrote the singer on her social networks.
It should be noted that entry into Canada remains prohibited to foreign nationals who are not adequately vaccinated. However, the singer made the decision not to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
“I did not take a position until then, because having contracted [the] COVID several times, I did not need to write to you and above all I felt that it was not was not the right time for me to express myself. In addition, I managed to do all the dates since last March internationally by showing my credentials (repeated PCR test and isolation),” mentioned Zaz, who added that he had gone out of his way to try to get an authorization to come to Canada, but in vain.
“We are working actively with our team on site to announce you soon the postponement dates in September 2023”, finally concluded the one who was to perform in Saguenay, Quebec, Montreal and Trois-Rivières at the end of September.
