Vacaf: do you know how to benefit from this aid from Caf for the holidays ? We explain everything to you

Vacaf is holiday assistance (AVF) from Caf for stays with family or for children, as part of a camp or a holiday center. We take stock to explain who can benefit from it, how and for what stays.

Families receiving aid from the Caf in 2024 can benefit from Vacaf aid, reminds the site Thank you for the info. This boost from Caf allows families with limited resources to go to the seaside, the countryside or even the mountains for a few days.

It is precisely called Family Vacation Assistance (AVF). There is also assistance for children's holidays (AVE).

What conditions to meet?

You must meet several conditions to benefit from Vacaf, reminds the site Caf.fr. :

Have a family quotient less than or equal to 850 € in January 2024 for Avf

Have a family quotient less than or equal to 850 € in January 2024 for Ave

Have a dependent child(ren) born from January 1, 2007 to October 31, 2023 for Family Vacation Assistance (Avf)

Have dependent child(ren) born from January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2017 for Children's Vacation Assistance (Ave)

And the procedures?

No action is required to benefit from it. In mid-February, beneficiaries receive a notification in their "My Account" space. on the website caf.fr, specifying the financial participation of the Caf and the duration of the stay.

How to book the stay?

Then all that remains is to choose your stay on the vacaf.org website among some 3 600 destinations, to contact the chosen holiday center and indicate your file number, specifying that you are a beneficiary of the Avf.

The center will then book the stay. You must pay part of it to confirm the reservation and pay the remaining amount one month before departure on vacation.
