Mr. Arseneault made the announcement on his page Facebook Wednesday.
“Having spent 8 years within the party, I want to say that this decision will have been incredibly difficult to take, but I took it because I fundamentally doubt that this administration is capable of defending the interests of citizens. of CDN-NDG ”, reads its publication.
Mr. Arseneault closely follows another elected, Rosannie Filato. Ms. Filato will remain with Projet Montréal, but she has stepped down from her position on the Executive Committee and will not be standing in the next election.
