Brand Victoria Beckham joined the second largest and fashion companies who refused to use the skins of exotic animals in their collections. Beckham made this decision recently, and in its old collections are still found handbags and shoes from the skin of lizards and snakes, but very soon they will be banned, reports Dailymail
44-year-old designer this week confirmed that it will follow in the footsteps of Chanel, removing exotic skins from his eponymous fashion line in the fall of this year, in part because of the desires of the customers. The company noted that customers didn’t like the fact that happy accessories killed exotic animals.
Note that the brand never used fur in their designs, but the collections are bags made of snake skin. Supporters of animal rights has happily responded to the news, noting that the decision of the designer will save the lives of “countless crocodiles, lizards, snakes, and other reptiles who are suffering because of the fashion industry,” the newspaper writes.
