The XV of France won at the wire in Scotland (16-20), Saturday February 10 during the second day of the 6 Nations Tournament, in particular thanks to a last try refused by the referee of meeting Nic Berry.
Depending on which side of the Channel you are on, the decision of Australian referee Nic Berry is seen as a pure scandal or a great breath of fresh air.
France then leads by four points against the XV du Chardon at Murrayfield thanks to a try on a flash from Louis Bielle-Biarrey, after having been behind in the score the entire match. ;
After the siren, the Scots manage to recover a ball in front of the French try line, before finishing in the goal with the ball. The question then becomes whether this ball is in contact with the ground, or in tricolor hands.

The field decision prevails in the event of absence of a clear image
While a try would give victory to Scotland, the Australian referee calls on the video, arguing that his decision on the field is that: there is no test.
And after viewing the images for many minutes, Mr. Berry is unable to see a clear image confirming that the ball touches the ground, despite a downward movement of the leather. Which means that the field decision prevails, and that the Scottish test is not validated.
