The young taekwondo player Cyrian Ravet was awarded the bronze medal this Wednesday, August 7. However, he did not win it by winning his fight, but thanks to his opponent's forfeit. He was informed of this in the middle of an interview with a television channel.

A first Olympic medal must be a sacred moment. For Cyrian Ravet, this moment was with a journalist from Eurosport.

“That's it, it's official you are medallists because Vitto (the opponent) is out” the journalist announced to the young Frenchman before the latter could answer : "Ah yeah let’s gooo (allez), bah benef".

A simple, spontaneous and innocent answer. Let us recall that Ravet is only 21 years old and was competing in his first Olympic Games in Paris.
