A beekeeper became the hero of an American baseball match by dislodging a swarm of bees from a stadium in Arizona, in the southwest of the United States, to the applause of the public .

The North American Baseball Championship (MLB) game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Arizona Diamondbacks was delayed Tuesday evening due to a swarm of bees ;was installed on a safety net.

After nearly two hours of waiting, Matt Hilton, a local beekeeper arrived in the stadium and dislodged the swarm to the fiery rhythms of "Holding Out for a Hero" by Bonnie Tyler (’Waiting for a Hero", in French).

"I thought I’was just here to deal with a bee problem"

The beekeeper sprayed a non-lethal product on the bees and collected them in a vacuum cleaner to "release them later"< /em>, described the MLB on its site. Having become the star of the evening, the beekeeper even had the right to throw the first ball of the game to the applause of the audience.
