A scene filmed a few months ago

This scene, in which Tom Cruise flies to Los Angeles by plane before parachuting to hang the Olympic banner on the Hollywood letters, was actually filmed last spring.

Several media outlets and Internet users believed last April that the American actor had come to film Mission: Impossible 8 in Paris, scheduled for 2025. But on the night of April 25 to 26, Tom Cruise was actually filming the famous video for the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games.

"Let's not seek controversy"

The presence of the most daredevil actor in Hollywood had nevertheless sparked controversy due to his membership in the Church of Scientology, currently in the sights of Miviludes in France.
