The iconic Montpellier handball manager led his last match at the helm of the club, Friday May 31 against Toulouse. Summary of an evening rich in emotions.

In an evening rich in emotions, tears but also smiles, Patrice Canayer said goodbye to the club he managed for thirty years. Surrounded by his family, his loved ones, his players, all of the club's employees, elected officials and of course the supporters, the technician was entitled to an outing worthy of his immense career. The club also took advantage of the event to create its hall of fame, a hall of fame which will bring together the big names in its history. And who better than Patrice Canayer to open the road, on the huge panel which now decorates the walls of the FDI Stadium.
