For the second time since his arrival at the Elysée, Emmanuel Macron put on his crampons on Wednesday during a football match, in Yvelines, for the benefit of the Yellow Pieces operation. Final score: 5-3 including a presidential goal from the penalty spot.

In 2021, during his first match with the "Variétés", Emmanuel Macron also scored a penalty against a selection of caregivers from the Poissy hospital center – Saint-Germain-en-Laye. Made famous by its charity matches and its renowned players like Laurent Blanc and Rudi Garcia, the VCF has organized 2,486 matches since its creation in 1971.
Launched in 1989 by the Hospital Foundation, the Yellow Pieces solidarity campaign aims to raise funds to finance projects in support of hospitalized children and adolescents. Long symbolized by large ballot boxes placed at the entrance to many businesses, the operation was dematerialized following the Covid-19 pandemic.
