Olivier Giroud a marqué son premier but pour le Los Angeles FC sans pouvoir empêcher la défaite de son équipe face au Columbus Crew (3-1) en finale de la Leagues Cup dimanche dans l’Ohio.

In the 57th minute, Giroud (37 years old) headed in a corner from Mateusz Bogusz to score his first goal with LAFC, which he joined at the beginning of August from AC Milan after playing in the Euro with the French team in June, his last international competition.

A headed goal

Giroud, starting for the first time in his fourth match with Los Angeles, responded to the opening goal by Colombian Cucho Hernandez, also with a header (45th), for the final of this mid-season tournament bringing together clubs from the North American championships (MLS) and Mexican.
