Ce mercredi 25 septembre, un dirigeable s’est écrasé du côté de la ville de São Paulo, au Brésil. L’accident n’a fait aucun mort mais le pilote a été hospitalisé.
More fear than harm for the pilot of an airship in Brazil. This Wednesday, September 25, the man was flying over the city of São Paulo in the south of the country during a test flight of the airship. Unfortunately, the craft suddenly began to lose altitude, and fell towards the houses located below. Miraculously, the man managed to steer the plane back into flight, but was unable to avoid the crash.

Several passersby had the opportunity to capture the last seconds of this airship before it crashed to the ground. In these videos, it is possible to see the craft hit the roofs of several homes hard. The pilot was reportedly slightly injured and was hospitalized, but no deaths were reported, according to Brazilian newspaper Folha de São Paulo.

According to CNews, the airship was built by the São Paulo FC football club with the aim of flying over the Morumbi stadium for the match against Botafogo in on the occasion of the quarter-finals of the Copa Libertadores. For the moment, the circumstances of the accident are still unknown.
