The Fédération interprofessionnelle de la santé du Québec (FIQ) wants to put an end to “the inhuman”.

It is the theme of a new advertising shock, which will be broadcast from Sunday, obtained first by VAT New Saturday.

According to the FIQ, the pandemic COVID-19 has revealed many flaws already present in the quebec health care system. Out of breath, the healthcare professionals were told by the hundreds of situations that they consider to be inhumane.

“We, the professionals in health care, it was asked, it was proposed, it was fought. Now, it is time to require. For the good of our patients. For all of us. It brings the system to the end of arm for years and it needs to stop. Let’s put an end to the inhuman”, it was argued in the advertising that VAT News has obtained a copy.

For the president of the FIQ, it is time that things change.

“It is quite special to be compelled to make a campaign of this kind. I just want to tell you that this is the reality on the ground. It is the stories that it blows hundreds and thousands that we have received for weeks,” said Nancy Bédard, the president of the FIQ.

“It is now time to change things and put the right solutions in place that they [the healthcare professionals] have good working conditions and that it can deliver the network in order to be able to face the coming months and years,” said Ms. Bédard.

The advertising of the FIQ must be released as soon as Sunday.
