Travis Scott, one of the biggest stars of American rap, was arrested and taken into custody this Friday, August 9, at dawn for violence, indicated the Paris prosecutor's office, confirming information from Valeurs Actuelles.

Early in the morning, “the police were called to the Georges V hotel and arrested the one nicknamed Travis Scott for violence against a security guard. The latter had himself intervened to separate the rapper from his bodyguard", the public prosecutor said.

"The 1st judicial police district has been given charge of the investigation" and Travis Scott is in police custody, the Paris prosecutor's office has also indicated.

Travis Scott posted a video on Instagram on Thursday evening showing him at Bercy, where the basketball events of the Paris Olympic Games are being held.
