Tennis player Novak Djokovic won the Olympic gold medal this Sunday, August 4, the only major title he was missing. At the end of the match, the Serb was unable to contain his emotion.

It's the title of a lifetime for Novak Djokovic. The Serb had been chasing it since his first Games in 2008. He finally won it, at the age of 37, at the end of an epic final against Carlos Alcaraz.

At the end of this crazy match, the Serb broke down and burst into tears. After shaking the Spaniard's hand, the Serbian spent several seconds drying his cheeks with his towel on his bench.

A few minutes later, the Olympic champion went back to his family and clan before, once again, ending up in tears in his daughter's arms. Novak Djokovic had, on many occasions, indicated the importance for him of winning for his country, Serbia.

This Sunday, Novak did it and entered, even more, into the great history of sport.
