A clash between supporters of Toulouse and Rennes, a few hours before a Ligue 1 match between the two teams, left ten people injured on Saturday, we learned from the prosecutor's office in the Breton capital.

"Around 2:20 p.m., rue de Chatillon, a clash broke out between around a hundred supporters from Rennes and Toulouse. Ten Toulouse residents were injured, but only one was hospitalized for possible head trauma", said Rennes public prosecutor Philippe Astruc, confirming information from local media.

"The first testimonies indicate that ultras from Rennes came to do battle with the Indians from Toulouse" , added the magistrate, specifying that until now there had been no complaints or arrests.

An investigation entrusted to the Interdepartmental Directorate of the National Police (DIPN) of Rennes was opened. "In view of the proven risk of disturbances to public order" weighing on this meeting, the prefecture of Ille-et-Vilaine had taken Thursday "by order of temporary restrictive measures intended to protect people and property".
