De violents orages touche ce vendredi 2 août l’est du département de l’Hérault.

This heavy rainfall fell in the Montpellier region in just a few minutes. On the A9 motorway and on the A 709, where traffic is very busy on the eve of the 'chasé-cross', slowdowns are reported near Montpellier. At the start of the evening, Vinci Autoroute announced significant slowdowns near Lunel in both directions of traffic.

Slowdowns on the roads

The water which quickly accumulated on the roadway forced motorists to brake more frequently. This Friday, August 2, the department of Hérault was placed on storm alert by Météo France.
