Faced with pressure from elected officials, McGill University has changed its mind. She will finally send a representative to answer questions from parliamentarians on barbaric initiations in sports.
The deputies of the National Assembly will meet on Wednesday to hear speakers from the sports community on degrading initiations. McGill University was initially among the invited organizations, alongside the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) and the Canadian Hockey League (CHL), but its name was removed from the list of participants.  ;
He reappeared there on Tuesday afternoon, hours after opposition MPs lobbied for the University to send representatives.
