In many countries, including in Ukraine, due to the ploughing of land snakes have virtually disappeared
Chernobyl showed photos of rare snakes
On the Facebook page of the Chernobyl radiation-ecological biosphere reserve, which previously showed a picture of a strange creature, there was a photograph a rare snake species of Renard (steppe Viper). As told the experts of the reserve, previously the East steppe Viper used to get poison, but due to the sharp downsizing of the fishery has been discontinued.
These reptiles can be found only in a small area. In all European countries Renard is under the protection of the Berne Convention, if it is endangered. Despite the toxicity, to humans the snake is not dangerous.
