Viticulture: wine brokers in tasting mode in Sérignan

Thursday January 18 and Friday January 19, at the Sérignan cooperative cellar, the competition for sworn brokers takes place. Nearly 600 samples will be tasted.  

The 17th wine competition for sworn brokers, set up by René Vergnes (Vergnes diffusion), Henri Féret (Bureau Féret) and the Gros Justamond  office will be hosted& nbsp;Thursday 18 and Friday 19 January, at the cooperative cellar Les Vignerons de Sérignan, of president Pierre Calmel. opens to wines from all over France. Fifteen sworn or so-called “campaign” brokers will taste the trifle of almost 600 wines (including 120 bottles from Languedoc), AOP (Protected Designation of Origin), IGP (Protected Geographical Indication), reds, whites and rosés , whether they are vintage or not. The tastings will be blind and will take place in five sessions, each bringing together three brokers who will taste, each day, 25 samples.
