The Béziers Angels libero speaks before the CEV Cup quarter-final first leg, Wednesday evening (6 p.m.), in Poland.

Before diving into this European quarter-final, what do you remember from your last success (2-3) in Quimper ?

The scenario and environment of the match were quite atypical. We came up against a team that had just won the Coupe de France and was therefore confident. We knew this match would not be easy. I think we were a little surprised by the intensity that Quimper was able to display, even if we were able to do the job in the tie-break. This is not the result we were hoping for, we lost a point. But the most important thing was to win and continue our positive streak.

How are you going to approach this major European meeting ?

It's no small thing to have the chance to play in a quarter-final of the European Cup. Apart from the coach, I don't think anyone in the group has ever had the opportunity to go this far in a European competition. There will necessarily be a particular flavor, we will really want to do well. I already feel a lot of excitement before this meeting.

How do you view your opponent: Budowlani Lodz ?

It will be a team on a different level than our previous opponents in the European Cup. Poland is a real volleyball country, it’s a big challenge that awaits us. We will not be favorites, we will have to try to master the two offensive weapons of this team. But I believe that we will have a real challenge to play, we will especially have to keep in mind that it will be a big fight and that we will not have to wait for the return match to qualify. All the girls are motivated, I know we will be there.

With the possibility of writing a beautiful page in the history of the club.

Yes quite. If we pass this round, the final square will open up to us. It would be really great for us, for the club and for our supporters. We will give to continue the adventure.

How to follow the Béziers Angels match ?

S’there will probably be many lining the aisles of the sports center at the start of next week (Tuesday, 7:30 p.m.) for the return match of the CEV Cup quarter-finals, the supporters of the Béziers Angels will have to follow the first round remotely, this Wednesday (6 p.m.), in Poland. This first confrontation will be followed on the club's social networks as well as on the live results sites. However, no information is currently available regarding a possible broadcast on television or on the internet. The club will communicate all practical information in the event of retransmission.
