Cannot restart

"There was no production today because it is May 1st. Production was due to start on Thursday which will not be possible, Volvic management explained to AFP, quoted by public radio. All our teams are mobilized to be able to restart as quickly as possible."

The factory may not resume its activity for several days, underlines BFM.

Complaint filed by Volvic

Volvic assured that the damage was of a technical nature and "has no impact on water quality&quot ;. A complaint was filed by Volvic, which belongs to the Danone group, with the gendarmerie.

Investigation

An investigation for "aggravated damage" was opened, entrusted to the gendarmerie research section.
