War in Ukraine: 11 dead including 5 children after a Russian strike on houses in the east of the country

“The Russians struck the region with S-300 missiles, killing eleven people and injuring eight others,” the regional governor of the Donetsk region announced on Saturday.

At least 11 people died, including 5 children, after a Russian strike in eastern Ukraine. 8 people are also injured reports BFMTV via information from AFP.

"The Russians struck the area with S-300 missiles, killing eleven people and injuring eight others. The main blow was delivered to Pokrovsk and Rivne of the Myrnograd community, Vadim Filashkin, head of the Donetsk region, said on Telegram.

A strike 80 km north of Donetsk

Pokrovsk is located in territory under Ukrainian control, approximately 80 km northwest of Donetsk, capital of the oblast of the same name held by the Russians.
