Météo France has activated its orange alert in five departments, for two reasons, this Wednesday, October 16, 2024. There has already been a lot of rain (up to 100 mm) last night in Lozère, where TER traffic has been cut between Alès and Langogne.

The City of Millau has taken the decision, "due to the forecast weather conditions", to close access to the Saoutadou footbridge spanning the Tarn. This closure will be effective this Wednesday, October 16 from 3 p.m. This is, of course, "to ensure the safety of users."
