Former Montreal Canadiens captain Shea Weber's contract was traded again Wednesday, having been included in a trade between the Vegas Golden Knights and Arizona Coyotes.
Defender Dysin Mayo made his way to Vice City, while the 2023 fifth-round draft pick accompanied Weber to the Arizona desert. This is a return similar to what the Habs were able to extract from the Knights last summer. In return for the rights to Weber, he received striker Evgeny Dadonov.

While nothing has been made official, the BC giant's career is pretty much over. Everything indicates that he will remain on the long-term injured list until his contract expires in 2026.
From home, Weber has his hands on $827,000 this season, and will collect $1.2 million over the next three years.
