Weclean focuses on supporting companies and their employees for a more sustainable future

Weclean facilitates the environmental commitment of companies by simplifying the implementation of their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). Its trademark: a human-centered approach, combined with an innovative mobile application. At the head of the company: Benoît Schumann, former Paris firefighter and founder of the NGO Project Rescue Ocean. He explains: "It's these two experiences – associated with a growing demand in recent years from companies looking for solutions for implementing their social responsibility (CSR) – which led me quite naturally to launch Weclean in March 2023". Its objective is clear: to unite employees around the environmental cause using its field expertise.

Measuring employees’ eco-citizen commitment

At the heart of the solutions provided by Weclean, an innovative mobile application linked to a web platform. This social innovation tool makes it possible to create and measure the eco-citizen commitment of employees. It complements training and workshops led by Benoît Schumann on sustainable development in business. The idea: modernize CSR commitments by creating stimulating environmental challenges and promoting the actions of employees. "After a year of support, the Barba group is the first company to have been awarded an Eco-Citizen Company trophy thanks to the commitment of its employees. Four
new trophies will be awarded to four other Hérault companies in the coming weeks", welcomes the founder.
Weclean's objective is to become a national reference in environmental CSR, by positioning itself in support of businesses: "The idea n’ is not to create additional constraints but rather to facilitate existing commitments and to highlight them, in a context where obligations in terms of sustainable development are tightening for companies." Weclean has just launched a new offer halfway between eco-seminar and eco-teambuilding. "As an example, a few weeks ago we organized a one-day seminar within Airbus to strengthen ties between ;team around a challenge
environmental. A real success."

Putting humans back at the heart of environmental issues

Supported by the Innovosud nursery, Benoît Schumann has also started the process of obtaining Qualiopi certification. To recognize Weclean's commitment to offering innovative and, above all, unifying training within companies. "The job of business manager is new to me, but it’s fascinating. And I have a long-term vision, both on improving the tool and on developing my network of stakeholders on a national scale."
And if the Weclean application is also accessible free of charge to the general public, the founder also intends to develop its support offer to municipalities with the creation of an Eco-Citizen City trophy. "The Sustainable Development Goals are everyone’s business. Weclean aims for collective awareness and lasting commitment on the part of all citizens", concludes Benoit Schumann who is also one of the ambassadors of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games . "I had the immense honor of carrying the Olympic flame last Thursday (Editor's note May 16). For me, it is the symbol of nearly ten years of commitment on the ground around eco-citizen awareness. And it’s also a message for the future, to continue to place humans at the heart of environmental issues."
