Meshelle Ndegeoceloo and Cory Henry with Jazz à Sète

The Jazz Festival in Sète invites to the Théâtre de la Mer on the Mal-Leclerc promenade, Tuesday July 16at 9 p.m., Meshell Ndegeocello, bassist, singer-songwriter, one of the most essential musicians of the last 30 years, heir to Prince and one of the initiators of the nu-soul movement; in 2nd part Cory Henry, best known as an organist, who has toured and recorded with the greatest like Bruce Springsteen, The Roots or P. Jazz in Sète at Dancing!

The cultural space Le Dancing 51, quai des Moulins offers, Wednesday July 17 and Thursday July 18 from 7:30 p.m., the after show of Jazz in Sète. Wednesday with Gayard Trio, Jazz on Top, Jam session surprise guest (12 €) and Thursday Gérard Poncin Trio, Jazz on Top, Jam session Black Live (12 €). Bar and snacks on site.

Thau Festival: “Bül Bül” and Rabie Houti Band in Montbazin

The Thau Festival invites, Tuesday July 16at 8:30 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.), at the Jardin Méditerranéen in Montbazin, “Bül Bül”, the sound system of the Balkans! Heritage of ancestral dances from the Orient, driven by songs and instruments, violin, synth, guitar…; then Rabie Houti Band, Arab-Andalusian-electro fusion. Rabi Houti and his violin dialogue with blues guitars, modern percussion, bass or synths… Free entry.

Thau Festival: regional creation of “+Le Silo+” at the Gateway

The artistic factory + Le Silo + and the Thau Festival present at La Passerelle de l‘île de Thau, Wednesday July 17 in the morning, the exit from the residence “Poplitê – Impantação”, the project of 5 Languedoc musicians, Brazilian at heart, for a concert to dance and sing… Free entry.

Thau Festival: Yom X Ceccaldi and Ballaké Sissoko & Vincent Ségal in Villeveyrac

The Thau Festival invites, Wednesday July 17at 8:30 p.m. (doors opening at 6 p.m.) at Valmagne Abbey in the first part “Yom unique project, a journey into the lair of the invisible and intimate… hellip; Then in the 2nd part Ballaké Sissolo & Vincent Ségal who will make the vaults of the abbey vibrate with their instrumental dialogue, string duet… Prices of 24, 28, 32, 15 € (free for – 12 years old).

The municipal campsite of the D158 in Loupian is meeting outside the walls with the librarian, Tuesday July 16 at 10 h 30. On the program stories, tales, nursery rhymes, object and puppet theater and surprises! Free.

EXHIBITION

Photo exhibition at the Atelier Révolution

L’Atelier Révolution at 21, rue de la Révolution gives carte blanche, until the end of July, in Salomé Thérond who presents “Rappelle-moi”, a 3-year work of immersion in youth, its hopes and its illusions… and Manuel Blanc “Ratio of scale”, a vision “upright” of the situation in Gaza.
