The wine-cultural event of the Grés de Montpellier union returns on Sunday May 12 with six tasting stages in remarkable places in the Boutonnet, Beaux-Arts and Écusson districts. Twenty-nine producers will showcase their wines with dishes created by Traiteur Grand. End of reservations: Tuesday, May 7 in the evening.
With the arrival of sunny days, the 11th Grés de Montpellier Gastronomic Walk is just around the corner. And this year again, it’s an edition that could not be more promising which has been concocted for this Sunday, May 12.
This wine-cultural event, whose departures will be distilled throughout the day, indeed offers a 5 km circuit in the Boutonnet, Beaux-Arts and Écusson districts, punctuated by six gourmet steps.

Gastronomic and heritage moments that will put the spotlight on a building, as much as on a dish, prepared by the Grand caterer. All enhanced, of course, by the nectars of the winegrowers of the Grés de Montpellier appellation.

Course and menu that Midi Libre delivers to you in preview. For this 2024 edition, the appetizer (creamy Loubes cabécou in its white chocolate and beetroot shell) will be held at the Hôtel Haguenot, a stone's throw from Le Peyrou.
The cold starter (green curry pannacotta, marinated organic Pyrenees trout and smoked herring roe) will be enjoyed in one of the most sumptuous classic hotels in the city, the Hôtel de Ganges, which houses since 1800 the prefecture of Hérault.
A unique journey
The hot entry (pepper like you've never seen it) at the Agora, international city of dance. The hot dish (southwest duck breast, soft sand asparagus with parmesan, creamy wild garlic, top carrots and duo of asparagus) will captivate the finest palates within of the majestic Françoise-Combes school campus.

Twenty-nine areas will be represented this Sunday, May 12, over the six stages of the course. Valmagne Abbey. The Blanville estate. The Lower Castle of Aumelas. The Château Claud Bellevue. The Château de Flaugergues. The Château de Fourques. The Engarran Castle. The Minister Castle.
Le Clos de l’Amandaie. Le Clos Sorian. The Ampelhus estate. The Cante Vigne estate. The Coste Moynier estate. The Perrière estate. The Triballe area. The Roquemale estate. The Saumarez estate. The Verchant estate.
Le Clos d’Isidore. The Puech estate. The Saint-Jean de l’Arbousier estate. Le Cellier du Pic. The Chai d’Emilien. Le Mas D’Arcaÿ. Le Mas de Janiny. The Mas des Hummingbirds. Martin’s Mas. The Valley of Pines. And Villa Exindrio.
The cheese break (fresh goat's cheese nougat and variation of black cherries) will be shared under the century-old trees of the Jesuit garden. An unprecedented journey which will end at the Lavanet estate, which has hosted Creps de Montpellier since 2010, where the expected number of guests will delight in balsamic-candied rhubarb, gariguette strawberry and elderberry cloud.
